I think a 510 is IRS isn't it? That'd certainly make things alot more interesting. Or are you planning to put an L-series into the 1000?

I have the r16 engine all stock but she wont start. I won't be using it tho. I'll be getting 2 510s A 69 and a 73. For dirt cheap would be awesome if they fit. I have yet to tare into my datsuns yet so don't know much about the drive trains

I upgraded the HTML/BBCode editor to the latest version so it would work on Internet Explorer 9, but it looks like accidently I've overwritten a few of the little tweaks I'd done. I'll play with it, and let you know when it works again

Derrick you could use a roadster one but very expensive and sought after. you best get a h150 or h165. You might be able to get the h165 from 60s bluebird for cheap which has an alloy centre and behind some the r16 or ohv L series like engine. If I...

Love the steering wheel, I have some hairline cracks in mine so might do the same but honestly was thinking of modifying a mitsubishi lance one as it 2 inches smaller in diameter but gave up when looking at the spline mods.

The other thing to do would be to put a Wanted advert in the Gumtree and tradingpost classifieds. There are a fair few 1000's in Adelaide and it might be worth the effort to find one locally. That way you can at least inspect them yourself.

Hey Mike, I have some extra photo's if you'd like them. When he first advertised that months ago (for $3500) I made an offer and set $2200 as my maximum (assuming I would spend about $500 collecting it). That was abruptly declined and here it is...

I fixed up the wiring on my round guard indicator today. The (+) signal wire was not allowing a circit so I replaced it. I drilled a small hole into a nut to make a mould for some solder to form around the end of my new wire. Here is a pic of the new...

The only other place that I can think of is around the window rubbers. Although the car is over 40 years old and 1000 with absolutly no rust will be very hard to find, at that price you can't get too picky. I paid $3000 for my B10 2 door and I think it...
