actually chain drives the older single pulley head not the twin pulley head, the single pullye head was only temporary for economy models much like the toyota MZ v6 engines, the z5 head is all belt driven due to using twin pulleys. The pulleys are tiny...

hmm just had a look at that. Could be an updgrade for the future - finish what i have first! The wiki entry talks about a timing chain rather than a belt. This makes it hard and potentially renders the currne adaptor plate un-useable. Worth looking...

True but the Z series is the one after the B series and has a 16v twin cam head for smaller bores instead of sohc 8v, the z5 most is just an update to the B series for pollution and some high end B series engine builders have been moving to these heads...
