And for the turbo, I was considering using a t25 from a 300zx. Seems like perfect sizing since they were twin turbo setups and each bank was seperate. Thats 1.5l per turbo, and good for 15psi. Thats enough for now.

emissions is quite a challenge with the CA18DET theres quite alot of plumbing and sensors everywhere In the UK the 8v sohc head with boost make more torque than the det powerwise the det has a 5-10% advantage over 6000rpm not much in it but something...

with a t25bb that manifold will be magic! heaps of torque from low rpm I initially looked at this one when thinking of turbo When the lot is polished removing the pesky Mazda writing will be a gem!

A few people have done it now, even a race car. all things, gearboxes etc between a ca16 and ca18 interchange, they fit nicely, little room left over but quite a compact motor once the sump is sorted to go over the crossmember. You have to consider the...

The ca series of motors are fairly punchy and perform really well in these light cars. The biggest issue you will face with a ca conversion is the height available under the bonnet. The 1000 is a fair bit shorter in the engine bay than a 1200, so you...
