Yes. Pancakes were the bizz. I looked upon my first one in 1980 at the old Lalor track in Vic. The same kid tried a backflip out of the snake pit. That didn't work so well. My best trick was getting up and finishing my race after I came off the same tabletop jump and smacked my head on the big rock. Ahh to be 8 again. Not a care in the world.

Pancakes? Ill raise it even higher with a Bunny hop  over some young kids laying on the ashphalt

How many of you still have your old BMX bikes?
 
This April 1981 built Quicksilver is one of mine, & was photographed the morning before the 2010 Retro Grand Nationals in 2010.
Yes, it still gets raced. We got 4th in the final.
