There were two different types of heaters offered in the range. You might have the early type if it doesn't look like the one above. It could also be an after market item..
 
There was even a demister for the rear window as an option too but those are pretty hard to come by.

SEXY SEXY SEXY!!!! What diff is in it? Standard 1000 diff might have some trouble. Any off to the bathroom now, Oh, I mean work...

Thanks for the info on the heater, the last image is really similar to one I have.
 
I've been too busy with new house and baby to play with the toy, so as of tomorrow it'll be posted for sale on Gumtree.

Hey Bina08, sorry I missed your question. It's the standard ute diff, and seems to cope well. I've run the engine up to ~7000 rpm and tested the traction at a nearby industrial estate, but it's only done about 100kms since the rebuild. I have a spare diff and axles as a back up.

Hi guys, I've dropped the price to $10,000 and will consider offers. The money and effort that's gone into this car is more than 5 times the asking price. You'll never build its equal for this price.

I've just sold my ute, and most of the spares. You may see the ute around if you're up in the north. The bloke who bought it (Charlie) reckons he'll be driving around regularly. I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed rebuilding the driveline.
 
I'm selling a webber carb with a Datsun adapter plate that I'll list in the parts pages.
