Looks to be in goood nick.

Here is the link.

I had a quick google search to find out where Windsor is (His location on his profile), It looks like this car is in brisbane.

Yea I've seen that thing on eBay a few times but the pictures weren't real flash tho so never thought much of it, looks pretty tidy

Yeah it's very straight. As Leith has said it's done ebay about four maybe five times over always advertised as a possible candidate for a rally car or something. Good luck to anyone who rallies a 1000. I hope you survive the season lol.

Take those awful wheels off, replace them with stock 12's and hubcaps and remove the tint and I might have gone for it!

Jokes aside it's a good unit but 1000's just don't pull the big money, the most I have seen paid for a fairly stock sedan was the one Hamza bought. But sit tight, they'll pick up in value again......slowly.

Someone offer him $2000 and tell him to keep the wheels. Pay cash, you'll probably get it.
i would of bought it 6 months ago if he had those better pictures, could of started represent'n 1000.com in south east qld ashlol

yea screw rallying a 1000, atleast not a standard one lol

If you were brave enough to rally a 1000 I wonder how light you could make it?

I hope 1000's go up in value, I think they look better than many other datsun models.

Anyone heard from Hamza latley?

Rally 1000 complete with matte black bonnet, spot lights, instruments, spares.....no roll cage?

1000's have actually gone down in value, in my opinion. Not sure what it is, I guess it's the look? But they'll get there, price/value wise, eventually. The only model I find really appealing other than the 1000 is the 1200 2dr sedan.

So who's going to buy this one? Not a bad price considering the first asking price, which I think was around $3500.
i think cars in general have gone down in value, its hard to sell shit nowadays unless your giving it away

andrew should of bought this instead of the celica

Yeah you're probably right there.

But generally a good condition 1000 doesn't pull much more than $2000 unless you find a serious buyer.

He mentions the driver's side guard needing attention but I can't actually see a picture? Would need an inspection to see what's under that respray as well, just to check.
Andrew is absolutly loving the Celica, I think he has got some sort of Toyota fever.

I think his plan for it down the line is a 5 speed manual behind a 1UZ-FE.

Yes, the same as what is in his hilux.

I know it's heresy to mention Toyotas  on this site, but since I've got a mention, I thought I'd pipe up...

The plan is to sell the Hilux once we've moved to a bigger place, then use the money to fund a 1UZ swap in the Celica.
I don't blame ya, those 1uz's are amazing, rev like mad and sound amazing. Supra 5 speed for the box? Bit of custom work I heard.
Yeah, after doing the roadtrip from Melbourne in the Celica, then getting back into my Hilux, I was instantly decided on putting a 1UZ in the Celica.

Dellow Automotive make a bellhousings for either the W58 or R154 Supra gearboxes. I'm going with the W58 because it's far cheaper. There's also Bellhousing and Clutch kits on eBay for around $1,000.

Nothing's going to happen until at least the end of the year though.
The 1000 on datnet is a friend of mine- The car is pretty mint. He has paid more and spent more on it than he is asking on ebay. if you dont know who he is his name is Shawn and runs the burgndy 510 that wins the summer nats 4 cilinder burnout comp nearly every year. The car has alloriginal books including all kn's done in the car. - like 7 km's to the supermarket and 5 km to get fuel today - from new. You think im joaking, no- there is pages of history on this car. All the interior is in top condiction. The car is an ( A ) not an ( A+ ) condiction. If this was a wagon i would have paid heaps more than what its asking price is. If any one out of state wants more pic's of it let me know.
I agree the wheels are not my choice but each to there own. ( wish the interior in my wagon was in the condiction of this car ) The car is in sydney and would be reliable to drive home to any state from here.
I hope someone that respects 1000's on here ( or loks on here ) buys this car.
PM me if anyone wants any more details.
DATSUN  -  FARK YEAH
Thanks for the info Max,

This car looked great in the pics, so I thought I would place a link on here for the guy.

It is an absolute bargin in my eyes, buying a 1000 in normal condition and then buying or restoring parts to bring it back to this coindition would cost a fortune.
It even has the rubber covers for the front suspension still in great condition.

I wish Shawn all the best of luck with his sale.

Hey Max,

I'd be keen on some pictures just for interests sake? Had this been further south I would have considered it, 4 doors and all! I've been looking for one for about 6 months now.

Cheers.
Andrew, belt driven v8s are a nightmare when chainging belts.
