Sunvisor to suit 1000 vehicles, update sale & location info for all interested

Any know of any windscreen sunvisors to suit a 1000
if you see one for sale pls let me know or others on
this thread eg. ebay, yahoo, gumtree or other

There are two types of sunvisors D.
One mounts from the top and just hinges on a single axis.
The other mounts from the top corner like most modern sunvisors.
 
What mounting points/holes are in your car?
I have a spare set in beige as well. (The ones that mount from the corner)
If you can't get them in the colour you want automotive shops sell vinyl-dye in an aerosol can. It looks the part and its easy as to use.
 
If you don't need the type that just hinges from the top, I am looking for one of those as well, (First choice should go to you).

Here are the visors I have

The Beige ones are a pair and the black ones make up a pair but the texture is different between the two visors.

I stuffed up big time!!!!!, actually mine are perfect and Ill be happy to give mine away
once I get my an external type of sunvisor or whatever its called   brain is blank atm

hey d,
i know this is an old topic but i just found it through google. If you were still hunting for one (which is likely) i have found a place in melbourne that makes them brand new. They are a solid metal type not meshed and come in primer. They are a little pricey but it's a great finishing touch. If the ones you saw on ebay were a mesh type and brand new there's a good chance they were from a guy/business in adelaide, they make venetians and weathershields too. I have sent him an email asking about getting one for a 1000.. if all goes well i will pass that info onto you?

Paddy, these ones (by an Adelaide seller) are also available as a hard/solid unit without the mesh. He lost the drawings for the 1000, but when I asked him a few years ago he said that if I were to bring the car down to him he'd fit one up and make one there and then.
 
I THINK there was talk he'd cut the price as he could then use the drawing/fitment to make more units and sell those off too. Send him a note if you drag your car down there I might do as well just to get a spare (although I think they are as ugly as sin).

i know what you mean.. $275 is a little hard for me to justify on an exterior accessory. but as a final touch on a long time build, it's good to know they are still being made new.

275 is a bit but well worth it but its a quality accessory and I like it more than the mesh one.
The VB10 look awesome with them and trimmed steelies for that old 60s look.

the more looking like we like them the better for the 1000
better than malaka pustis painting their dashes fluorecent yellow
and also color coding bumpers like some tacky 80s movie.
