They look like they would do everything you need. and the price is right.

Keeping the old radio in the dash makes the car look like it has had a much easier life, and I think it gives the car a classic feel when you are sitting inside.

It sure does and the other thing Id love which was not really factory is a horizontal 60s tacho.
Some valiants & chevs had this option, my old ap5 wags with its push button auto sported it on the dash.
I sold the one I was keeping for peanuts to a friend and would love to get something similar.
They are worth like 400-500usd from one of the last auctions I saw

windscreen places can do it. Just cut glass to size & polyurethane with care,
no frames though much stronger overall

If there enough people interested I would have done it in scratch &
crack resistant Lexan polimer. You can do it for your drag beast.

No where near polished yet,  just fitted on to see what they look like. 
The exhaust is pathetic looking will need to remedy that too.
