Hi guys , didnt know a 1000 site existed , kinda by accident i found you. Anyhow i have a white datsun 1000 coupe
and was wondering if anyone can tell me the wheel offset for them , ive been doing some work on the front end and its on stands atm. I wanna put some 13" mags under it but not sure whats gunna bolt on , anyone have any suggestions , or mags that would fit ? Or would i be better looking at 14" or would that mean i have to do panel work to avoid the scrubbing.
 
Basicly atm i just wanna get some 13"s on it , so i can compleat works on it to get it a RWC. No point in getting a set of RWC 12" tyers since ill just be puttings 13"s on anyway.

I bought it in a car yard about 10 years ago for $250.00 no rego , but almost there , cept stuff like exaughst, seats, carpet, tyres, all the lens's were good , but im still missing a short spear flasher off the left hand guard.  I've had it stored for the last 9 years and recently got a missus who also loves dattos, and has motivated me to get it going. Unfortunatly the last person who fixed it must have thought bog was a fix all, ill prolly need to do a bit of digging to remove it
 
Im not really too fussed about making it a flaming matchbox (err hotted up muscle car), im happy with a runaround, ill redo paint and interior to make it comfy, i do have a mate who wants to put a set of 4 36mm mukini's on it just for fun, but i really have had my share of speeding tickets. I have owned prolly 3 other coups and a couple of wagons, but that was when i was a 20 year old and drove them into the dirt and sold them for bugger all. Ah well at least i have a nice straight one that doesn't need much doing to it.
 
Im currently in the process of having a go at the front end cleaning years of mud off and seeing what needs to be replaced etc, all in all prolly a 12 month project, just to have fun with.
 
PS i've always LOVED datto 1000's and always will

I have a set of 14x6" or 6.5" +20 offset on right now and they fit perfect, even lowered. Some minor scrubbing in the gaurd on full lock. I did have a set of 13x6" with a similar/slightly higher offset and they didn't clear, can't remember what the used to hit on (think it was the tie rod) but if you go larger width then get lower offset and bash the guards out a bit with a mallet. If you are not lowered just about everything should fit within reason.
