Looks good but wrong grill.  B20s first appeared as MY68 with all the minor changes, grill and side indicators are the biggest.

I will swap you the right grill if you like, just drive down here and we can change it over on the spot.

thats a bit strange as this 1968 B20 has been in my son inlaws family since new, it has never been damaged and garaged all its life, it's the same grill it was sold new with. So it should be correct. It was white , till I painted it silver,as was the front bumper when I inherited the car about 6 years ago. can't Imagine the 86 yearold grandfather changing it.
Maybe it is an early car, what is the year on the manufacturers plate?  Are there three tabs to screw each headlight surround into?

Here is my list of differences between MY67 and MY68 sedans:

.           Front wing blinkers are round;
.           A seven bar grill is fitted;
.           Brake drums are lighter (but VB10 thus possibly B20 are heavier than MY67 sedans);
.           Engine has a single row timing chain, smaller air filter and engine is vented from the rocker cover to the air filter;
         Petrol filter has metal body with replaceable element mounted on bracket on RH side inner guard;
.           Manufacturer’s plate has year printed on plate and is further back on the RH side inner guard;
.           LH hole in radiator panel is angular rather than round;
.           Sun visors are mounted in the middle of each visor, standard models only have one visor;
.           Dashboard and instrument panel closely follow the metal behind, later models have a protruding dash;
.           Door opening edging is a smaller section;
.           Heater body and core;
.           Steering wheel and horn push are different;
.           Deluxe models have tinted windows;
.           Deluxe models have driver door only interior light switches, standards have none, later models have two;
.           Australian 1967 models were mainly deluxes;
.           All I have seen had 3 speed gearboxes originally;
.           Windscreen washers appear to have been added in Australia, the push button switch on the 1967 models is plastic, metal on later models.

Looks like an early ute grille to me

Is an "early ute grill" the same as an early sedan grill?  Or is there a grill type that I am not aware of?

Mark
It looks like an early grille which is specific to the B20 ute, Nissan part # 62303-15401 (up to sep-1968)

If your chassis number is B20-040000 or smaller then that is the correct grille for your ute.
1967 Datsun B10 2 Door.
The chassis no is  028267   , Thanks for your interest BEETWENTY, I know it is the original fittment, the original owner was a long time acquaintance till his recent passing, I'm 71 have known this ute since it's first arrival here in Gladstone, it is rust & damage free and will be given to my grandson when he is old enough to appreciate it, the original owner was his Great Great Grandfather so it will stay in the family hopefully.  my next project ,a 1957 Dodge 6 Ton Truck, a tad bigger, but the Datto stay's here for some years yet
Im assuming you would like your ute to stay original?

It is a very good example of a how a B20 should be, Im thoroughly impressed.
1967 Datsun B10 2 Door.
It looks like the early utes have some features of the early sedans and some from the later sedans.  What timing chain does the motor have?  It looks like a late motor by the bigger air cleaner so I suspect double row.

It has a duplex chain , air cleaner has A105 Ryco element.   Didn't think this little truck would create so much interest. I have had the upholsterer add some extra foam to make the seats a bit better to look at,  wheels are early Falcon with 165/13 radials & Cortina hub caps, (no ford badge), I still have the 12"& white hub caps for future use if needed. I have the original Jack and Wheel brace and one nissan spanner, does anyone know what the original tool kit comprises, still chasing the correct door rubbers,  and a pass side front guard mirror, may have to buy a set on ebay ex Japan.  NEV
Hello from Portugal!

The ute is simply beautiful, congratulations, I think very well that the ute is in the family, therefore, continues his story to the next owners.

This blue color is very pretty, you know the color code?
G'day Nev. fantastic little ute mate, well done on a top job!

Before you get a mirror on eBay, give your local Nissan dealer's parts dept a try. I can't guarantee that they'll still be able to source genuine ones, but it's definitely worth a shot.

Good luck!

Hi Toylex

The color is our attempt at mixing 1957 Chev Larkspur Blue, probably not the same but similiar. Pleased you like it

Car looks great would be good to see a few more pictures. I really like the colour, suits it well, I think it is better than the original light blue datsun 1000 colour.
Iceberg Blue?
Nice work on the Ute Nev, great Job..

XP falcon 4 stud wheels work a treat on the 1000's,( I think the Futura ones were 14" 4 stud)
I have a set with my rally tyres on, ...
