Is the shell still available? If so where is it? Pascoe Vale I'm guessing. Mark

I'm looking for a fresh shell to build a new rally car. Either a B10 2 door or KB10 would be good. I don't need any running gear or mechanicals. Hanging panels and glass would be nice to have. Obviously I want a straight, rust free shell located...

My fuel tank is about 60l. We used 25l in 100km once so had to do something about it. The factors limiting the size of the tank is the height of the filler tube, mine has been raised as far as possible under the original flap and the size of the boot...

I can report from the rally that there are a lot of hills around Powelltown. The A10 was spinning at 7000rpm for much of the night in second gear. We finished but down in 7th place. Stanza in first then a couple of Golfs, a 205GTI, a Corolla (very...

The car is back on the road, just in time for a rally this weekend running out of Powelltown. Funny how it gets fixed just in time! Neal at NODs MODs put the tower back on and strengthened appropriately. The tower was welded back in place then...

For re-inforcement I am thinking of: . two strips of angle (1-2mm thick) on top of the rails against the tower and parallel to the cross-member; . two strips (10mm wide) of flat running down the towers onto the rail maybe going under as well; . two...

The brakes were done nigh on 20 years back so I don't remember much. I can photograph the units and post if you wish. There are probably better options, I had to use pre '68 brakes from the same manufacturer under the rules that the car is built to so...

I don't believe that rust has had any part in it. Just the twisting from the braking force (PB510 discs) and keeping the wheel located in the one vertical plane. It's the same car that I finished building in 1998, it's only showing about 7000 miles...

The plan is to bend everything back to close to the right shape, weld it in while comparing position to the other one then plate over the weld and further down the rails. Then strengthen the RH side. I will probably have to remove the cross-member to do...

While competing in a rally back in August the 1967 Sunny was pulling to the left under braking. It got worse during the event but somehow we won anyway (very low key event so don't be too surprised). We thought it was brakes but as soon as I started...

They go off, I think, but the more I think about it the less sure I am. I modified the light switch on mine to do the opposite but I also split the front from the rear onto separate fuses. I had a problem with everything on one fuse one night when the...

this is my list of differences between a 1966/67 model and later models: . Front wing blinkers are round; . A seven bar grill is fitted; . Brake drums are lighter; . Engine has a single row timing chain, smaller...

I have broken two axles. The first through stupidity, I had a 5.1 Daihatsu (hi jet?) diff in the housing and the axles didn't go in as far as they should, the diff was a CIG (BOC - welded) locker. It was great with a standard gearbox on a rally until...

It looks like the early utes have some features of the early sedans and some from the later sedans. What timing chain does the motor have? It looks like a late motor by the bigger air cleaner so I suspect double row. Mark

Is an "early ute grill" the same as an early sedan grill? Or is there a grill type that I am not aware of? Mark
