Datsun 1000.com is now one year old. Horay!

I want to say thank you to everyone that has helped to make this forum the friendly place it has become over the past year.
There has been alot of helpful advice, kind comments and hard to find parts shared over the past year.
I have enjoyed talking to you all, and I look foward to many more years of talking about Datsun 1000's with everybody.

Happy Birthday 1000.com!  It's a privelige and honour to be a part of it.I have only been a member for only a few months, but my love for the VB goes way back to birth.

I credit my love for the little VB10 to me dear old Dad (Rest in Peace, Pa).  He bought one brand new back in 1970 and he drove it with pride and gusto for 15 years, when he had the engine rebuilt and gave it to my sister for her 1st car.  She then drove it for another 3 or 4 years, until she bought a new Sierra, passing it onto my brother.  Unfortunately my brother thrashed the bejesus out of it until Plod defected the poor Datto (they actually put the yellow sticker upside down, right in the driver's line of sight - their equivalent of the old red stickers).  I did inherit her as a non running, unlicensed wreck, to pillage whatever parts I needed for the licensed '68 I had just bought for $400.  The rest I swapped at a Datsun/Nissan wrecker for a pair of 240K struts, which I wanted for my rare 140Y GX coupe I used to have.  But that 140 is an entirely different story altogether...

It was the mid-90's, I was 19 at the time I inherited her and back then, there were still quite a few B10's on the road.  But if I knew then what I know now...
When the "D" hits your eye, like a txt smiley guy...
