Its not an offer actually and sounds like a crap load of promises thinking about doing this and that getting your aunty to chip in and promises to the potential buyer at the end of the day I would prefer to start off with a cheap shell untouched not filled with bog or other hidden critters.  The dash is as simple as pie to take out. I would offer $200 as its tatty and sprayed over original colour also one original smurf in much better condition was sold here in melbourne for 1500-1800 recently and loads better condition. You should have sold it for 1500. 
 
Some of us here have been around 1000s for decades so your persuasive writing is not lets say believable.

Im glad to hear you have made a sale and recovered your money.
1000's are worth different ammounts to different people and also in different locations, it feels as if Adelade and Melbourne are where all the cars, parts and bargins are.
So as your profile says you are in SA you have a tough market in terms of getting good money I guess.
