yea mate i brought it thats the blue one in the photo havent had it long needs bit of work but its a fun little car , has a A12 , lumpy cam , extractors an seems to go pretty good , might be getting twin webers for it , will they make it go much better ?

On a basically stock motor... not really
Just make alittle more noise and use alot more fuel
Had twin SU stype carbs on it last time I saw it... they would be the go

dunno were they would be now ey , might up the compression later an grab the twin webers any way wank factor for now , there pretty well priced . what other things make them go better ?

That motor is a winner. (if its the one I think it is) Just leave it be to be honest, but Im guessing thats not what you want to hear, so
if you want more ponies, from that motor, you could turbo it using a dirty j-pipe setup.
But that would need a new carb, cam and other bits.
You could skim the head for some more compression, that "might" give you some more ponies.
Run the highest octane fuel you can find.
Spend a heap of time tuning the setup you have. You could get some ponies in that.
How much cash can you spead realistically? Can you afford to have the car off the road or is it the daily drive?

I think Jesse removed a few bits before sale
And not sure what Mike removed before he sold it to Jesse
So probably a stock A12 in it for all I know nowdays

how come its a winner ? im not chasing shit loads more cause its pretty zippy as it is , the idle is lumpy power comes on mid rev range i was thinking the webers would open her up a tad more , i was thinking on shaving the head too then i would be happy , turbo is out of the question dont want to go down that path , like the na sound better . its not a daily either an can spend a bit here an there just not all at once
