Love these as well but probably much cheaper your way, a rage in Japan atm with some JDM cars.

Hows the steering these days from going rack and pinion must be awesome.

How is the security for cars over there much crime related to stereos or other things or is your town pretty laid back community friendly etc. Here you know what its like theres always a junky or spoilt bored schoolkid looking for change or anything they can nab.

ended up just new rings and bearings so standard rebuild,
head was shaved and ported,
made a mistake with carb old was broken so got new standard on ebay from bkk $258, as discussed recently the
1200 is a bit higher than 1000 so may be a hassle in regard to air filter, neal is sending me a standard one,
should have gone side draft back then...
 
if air filter fits under will just leave it for now, cash low just now lol,
new carb with new electric dizzy extractors, goes ok sounds pretty good.
 
 
also air con may be a problem for sidedraft.
the rack and pinion is great, drives like a gocart, does not quite return the same but very acceptable.
its laid back here, your right security here is not a problem.
there just no low lifes that go aroung stealing strangely enought.
