Painted Webers Yay or Nay?

what do you guys think of painting carbs like this
to match your rocker cover? Its a lot of work but
quite surprised by the final outcome with chrome.

That does look pretty hot, but you would want to chrome/blue everything in the engine bay, else it would look out of place.
 
But, on the flipside, thats a very modern look perhaps more suited to a 200sx or such.

have mine painted blue everytime I look at them I feel regret leave them original
I have been a long time member of the 1200 club but found this site. As I have a coupe this is where I should be.

I was thinking of using them on an CA18DE with polished rockers and this billet insert painted the same for an older school look with externally hidden coils and leads going into it.

pic looks great love to see the end result.
