Heres some photos and a short description of what I did, just let me know if anyone wants more info or tips.
I bought my set of r31 discs from ebay, cost $90 + $30 postage, alot cheaper then any wreckers i rang.

I just disassembled and cleaned and rubber greased all the seals and they are all good. Disassemble your front brakes, and keep the hubs and the brake hoses. Get the stock r31 rear caliper mounting brackets and and use the old bolt locking plate as a guide, mark the 3 holes you need to drill.
1 of the stock holes you can use but you will need to widen the hole to line up. You will need to grind a small amount off the bracket to fit the steering drop arm.
Then mount the caliper mounting bracket with the original bolts from the drums. Then mount the hub and disc on spindle and mount the caliper.
Then for the brake hose, remove the original ones and remove the banjo fitting off the end so it will screw straight into the caliper. Finally mount the hoses and bleed.
Simple as that, I've got a few photos at the moment but I'll be removing the brakes to paint everything so I'll take some more detailed photos. Cheers
