That's about the going rate for genuine Nissan mirrors on ebay. The link you gave was for mirrors specific to the roadster, the arm on the mirror has a sharper bend and the mounting base is shorter than the 1000 one. If you are going to buy new, I...

My only advice about making two pieces fit that normaly wouldn't go with each other is this... Let's say you have two parts that you want to make fit each other. Your first step would be to determine which parts will need to be replaced more often and...

I just measured one of the 555 ones like in the pic above. Measurements I got were...top 11mm - base 12.3mm tapering down over a distance of 13.5mm. The rubber boot made things hard to measure, (It's a tough little sucker). Those numbers should get...

When compared to a pic on 1200.com's wiki of a VB10 light im sure it's the same as what you just bought. I am still very keen to hear you confirm the match once you recieve it from that ebayer.

SharmCos, Making a new upper control arm with a common balljoint will just make finding upper balljoints in the future easier. They are hard to find in Australia. And also upper control arm bushes are hard to find so making a custom upper control arm...

This guys ad lists it as KB110, but the part number he listed (80243-25700) matches up to a 1/4 vent seal, LH for a 1000 coupe in my b10 parts book. Where as the equivilant part number in my 1200 parts book reads 80243-H1001 and there is no mention of...

I was just posting up a link incase DatsAmore found pretty much any 1000 part, not just suspension bushings, but I like the way you think Neil. I have found a few bits & pieces for my 1000 by doing just that, shock absorbers ect.
