Well... mine defiantly isnt original. I got mine from a guy wrecking 1970's celicas. But picked it up as I liked the Sunny "S" on the sticker. My jack is lying about being correct to the car.

As far as I am aware, all guards are the same, just indicator hole differs depending on year of manufacture. Cant help with actual guards, sorry.

Ive always wanted to adapt a suzuki 4 speed transmission to an A series because they are tiny/compact and more efficient than the old BW. The starter is in the right place and prob an adaptor plate of about 5mm along with a hybrid A series/suzuki flex...

You could go a crank trigger wheel in the front of the balancer Or a Mazda rotary 'dizzy' which is really just a crank angle sensor (I'm lead to believe you just change the gear on the shaft ... haven't done mine yet) Then run your 4 coils and fancy ECU ...
