G'day beetwenty, apparently if the H165 diff is out of a van with the 1200 engine it will fit in the 1000 housing, the H150 will fit with the spacer but they don't have the right ratio's, mine is a stock 1000 diff so it will be a 4.111, I've also read...

So my understanding is that if you want a H165 diff in your car you will need to swap the entire diff over. Leaf mounts, shock mounts,u bolts and driveshaft (maybe custom length). And obviously overall widths need to be appropriate as well.

My understanding is that if all you are swapping over is the centre on your 1000 diff then you either need a 1000 or 1200 diff centre (H145). If you swap to the larger 120y centre (H150) you will need to either buy or make up a 2mm spacer to fit between...

Thanks i have ordered the front spring eye bushes and i did the rears when i first put the old girl together plus i've got the control arm bushes, fitting the 1500 and five speed at the moment so with work as well i'm flat out.
