i didn't watch the videos but here's what i done, i used spray glue tho- cut the door card out roughly cut the foam left it overhanging little sprayed glue on the door card and on the foam waited 5min then stuck them together trimmed the foam with a...

I am now waiting for my contact adhesive to go off on my second test piece. I rushed my first test piece, but the thickness is spot on without foam on the edges. So this door card idea is looking promising. Im now trying a second test piece and wieghing...
