That looks so sweet, I went further in the minimalist department and relocated the breather out the back of the rocker using a brass fitting as I wanted a very long rocker cover look but your finish is superior in paint finish than my effort.

Nothing overley exciting, but I thought Id share anyway. I had an old A10 rocker cover and decided to eliminate the accelerator cable clip. My long term plan is to run a pair of SU carbs and the cable routing will be misaligned with the stock clip....

Is it a stock a10 gearbox or other? Im a great believer in the A10 flywheel with A12 clutch but also Highway brakes in Campbelfield did me a stage 2 version of my A10 flywheel and held up well behind a 120hp ate A15 with cam that redlined at 8300rpm. Ran...

the bearing sizes are different, and there is a couple of carrier lengths too, a12 flywheel doesn't fit in the 1000 gearbox without cutting the corner off...

Looks like your tyres will certianly out grip the A10 clutch. If you do the swap, please update this topic with any info that is relevant.

Beetwenty it drives well, it’s a spritely little motor that goes hard, the standard a10 clutch does slip if you put your foot into it, but driving normally it’s fine although having sticky tyres (proxes r888s) doesn’t do it any favours either.

I dont have any answers for you regarding the A12 clutch onto the A10 flywheel. How well does the car drive with the A10 flywheel? Im curious as im still a little unsure about which flywheel to use on my A14.

Morning all, The little Datto has been running well, although the stock 1000 clutch doesn’t like sitting behind the A14. so this week I’m going to put an upgraded 1200 clutch in it. now, at the moment I’m running the lighter A10 flywheel, so I’m aware...

I have looked at the SW listing before. He has a good cheap price indeed...but.. I only have a single 40 on the 1k currently, so will be looking for another single DCOE manifold. Just A14 pattern. Getting hold of a rowland one is my current plan. I...

Oh you have the sidey web already thats a good thing then! As for GX style sidedraft manifold, doesnt SW in sydney have one to suit both heads and at a steal for 250aud? http://www.swmotorsport.com.au/shopping_cart.php 9kg is good, just a note the...

I already have a single weber on the car, so the plan for another manifold is just to shorten the time frame for my engine swap and just use what I have. Id like to put the new a14 in with the GX head and be done with it. It would mean I am mismatching...

A14 with high comp run surprisingly well with stock carb is you wanted to save from using a weber Many suzuki guys run a 1.6 baleno engine in their Sierra/jimmnies also use a single SU with a simple adaptor to their inlet manifolds to rid the downdraft...

Thinking next (price dependant) will be to have my A14 flywheel machined to the GX dimensions taking it to approx 6 1/2 kgs. The ebay 2.95kg cromo ones sound ridiculously light when compared to the stock 10kg-ish weight. So thinking this is a more...

Im still on the go slow because of cash. My re-ringed A14 is now going to go into my 1200 (after I save up to rebuild an old A14 head) 1000 will recieve a second A14 eventually. (Which I have). Currently new A14 is... bored .5mm oversize, decked,...

Sweet jigga! Its got all the coupe bits but is a better visibility and lighter Tudor Whats the next plan of attack? A14 and air con, you have to do something for your comfort as well not just the 1Ks narcism which should be very healthy by now
