Dundee's 68 Wags.. , Even longer long time...

putting it together after many years as a lot of you old timers know..

it takes so long to do little things, like building some decent short spear side indicators, or a nice set of front park/indicators..
but we will get there...

Sounds like a Wagger disease, Ive got it, its terminal mate

will let you know if my spears are short or long ones havent got to the box yet
will know in the next month or 2 when I get to the other shed

a few pics of little jobs...
Just some random update,
the daily lappo is many steps closer,
it's not red a white any more, but Brooklands BRG and not too bad for a daily lappo,
just need to swap out the tired old 12 and drop in the Stock 15 with GX induction...

and some other coolness i picked up...

what do you guys reckon???
What...didn't you like the red and white? Seriously, mate that looks very nice in the BRG with the minilights and chrome looks fantastic! It looks like it's begging for a little warming over of the a15 though! Do you have any engine bay pics of it?
Needs disc brakes
Got's disk brakes Nool..

oh and Dix, it's full 67 spec old school in the bay, nothing done in there at all,
it just had to be clean and straight for daily duty Datto goodness...
Old school is still cool. Great little daily ride.
Thatsa Schweet paint job! good colour and just needs some 4 inch peep mirrors instead of that plastic celica thing

Oh yeah you got those funny Corolla hybrids... remember now
what was the Shaft like you pulled out Nool???
Who shafted what now ?
I should update something,
well some time later.....

12 months later and this lappo is driving pretty well, other than a horendus driveline vibration, I'm thinking it's the box and i really should have a look...

I swapped out the early block A12 that had a mild unknown regrind stick in it,
I slipped in a bog stock Big block A15 outa a sunny wagon, I did put on a GX1200 induction though,
it pulls like a 16 yr old with a stick book, but also drives nicely for a daily.
I pulled out the 4.4 gears and slipped in a 3.9 steel centre, I put in another tailshaft with new uni joints too,
I was questing today on making the wipers work again, killed one motor, and the next one wasn't happy but was working before I slipped it in,
turns out the shafts that come thru the firewall were pretty much seized up, then the nuts wouldnt come off without trearing them out of the firewall first... too much drama for one little job, so doused the lot in CRC fron underneath, not muh joy,
what to do..
they have a little rubber seal just under the splines, I tried to leaver that up to get some lube in there, they were hard as a honeymooners.....
but a little bit cracked off, bingo, dripped some balistoil on them, work them back and forth and you should see my wipers go now...
rotate the seals round so the cracked bit is at the bottom... all good and now easy to oil in the future...

next chore.....
Yet wiper motors I thought werent strong enough to wipe the sweat of my forehead!
thouees are not like most of lifes issues they are simple so with a little elbow grease
things can be tip top again and youve proven that.
I remember spending 6 hours removing and installing a Toyota Aurion heater also
3 hours chipping a bmw twin turbo magnesium 6 bmw.

i would put the on for sure! Great with the different offsets, just needs to go down a bit (a lot)
thanks Dix... it looks high with those really little wheels...
she cool bro, just add 4 x 4 emblem on rear and watch the confused suckers pile up

wats suit it to a T similar to Bennys ownership of my old coupe, I had black steelies
he put the same kind of 13 wats and suits the rest of the car beautifully, crafty bloke that Benny
