"Yes I'm planning on having it registered. And yes it would be easier and cheaper to get an a12/14/15 but nobody sells them... At least not that I can find... So therefore my only real option is just get this l16 fitted because you can still get parts..."

"Ok thanks well I am acctually putting a datsun 1600 engine in my 1000. Its is re manufactured with twin carbys and extractors. What oil would that need? All brand new parts for the engine. Wont be driven to hard though im a slow driver."

"Hey I dont know about how to fit different rubbers or whatnot but im pretty sure you can buy new rubbers from 'rare spares' thats where im getting mine for my datsun 1000 coupe but yeah hope that helps"
