I can vouch for vinyl dye. Here's a before and after of my '81 Hilux. The door cards and roof lining came up great and have lasted over 3 years so far without problems.

Here's the headers I've done in the past. When I have time, I'll make more for other special days. You may need to click on them to see the subtle changes to the B20 ute. This forum isn't wide enough Valentine's Day notice the steamy hand-print on the...

Hey Mikey, What's a TS Celica? Do you mean the Bosozoku TA22 in the mag? I have a theory about retro Japanese cars being more popular these days... With the P-plate laws, you can't have anything that requires a mod plate. So original is the new cool....

If anyone's interested, there's a new car magazine out there called "Japanese Retro Auto". It looks like it's going to be similar to "Japanese Nostaligic Car" magazine. I just bought issue one, and spotted a datsun 1000 coupe in...

Ok, I've abandoned the "Classifieds" tab at the top, and made a few small changes to the classifieds forums. Classifieds forums now have a: - thumbnail next to them - price - "For Sale" / "Pending Payment" /...

I'll have a think about how I can combine the best of both. Perhaps I can remove the Classifieds tab, but add the image thumbnail, "Price" and "active/sold" fields to the classifieds within the forum (similar to how boostcruising do...

We created the classifieds section to keep the format of ads consistent, and easy to navigate, but don't worry - we'll never sell out and go commercial. It will always be free to list At the moment, you can message the seller, but it's all private. ...

We consolidated a bunch of pages into the "Reference Material" Tab to tidy up. When we get rid of the for sale forums, I'll put a link to the Classifieds Tab in their place so that it's not hidden away up there.

The late 70s Hilux (assuming it's no newer than '78) should have the highly sought-after diff in it that people use for engine conversions. 1372mm wide and good for about 500rwhp. I paid $280 for one, and there's one on ebay Australia at the moment that's...

Yeah, after doing the roadtrip from Melbourne in the Celica, then getting back into my Hilux, I was instantly decided on putting a 1UZ in the Celica. Dellow Automotive make a bellhousings for either the W58 or R154 Supra gearboxes. I'm going with the...

I know it's heresy to mention Toyotas on this site, but since I've got a mention, I thought I'd pipe up... The plan is to sell the Hilux once we've moved to a bigger place, then use the money to fund a 1UZ swap in the Celica.
