Those deluxe badges are found on some 68 model 1600s as well. Well they are on my mums car, and that came from victoria. And there is nothing deluxe about it, doesn't even have an AM radio.

I'd be going for some thicker plate to make your brackets too I use 10mm that might be alittle overkill I wouldn't go under 8 personally

I think one possible solution is to use S12 or 200sx 1984 rotors + calipers and make some caliper brackets up using MDF then either waterjet or lasercut some 4-5mm flat steel plate once you get the right sizes. The main thing is to find...

They have "Half Moon Prod Melbourne" stamped into the back of them. Maybe a Vic dealer had them made up cheaper than buying Nissan/Datsun Deluxe Emblems way back in the 60's? It would make sense about Vic cars having them. Although im only...

Alright cheers for that. Yeah mine are weathered and grey like the ones you have so I'll leave the NOS stuff for now. I'm still trying to figure out why some of the vic 1000's had these deluxe badges on them and not the conventional deluxe shields. ...

Ash, I'll take the datsun emblems, I've been hunting for one for weeks - what's the story with them? Send me paypal or bank details please. Still undecided on the grille.
