"I did mirrors on the top because when they were on the side they were magnets for oblivious carpark pedestrians.   Found it impossible to go to the shops and not have my mirrors bumped.   Never had a problem with them up top.   It is a worthwhile mod.  ..."

"best thou anywhere in the world with that colour and finish stock A12 are beaut things, even in the future if you use a GX cam with a little more compression they run better on round port heads than oval due to faster low end and mid range flow velocities..."

"Thanks, also did another Early A12 from Datsun Museum. Chris assures me it was rebuilt 3 years prior and taken from one of his own cars. Gave it a spray can tidy up along with some fresh gaskets, water pump etc.   Single dcoe 40mm from weber performance..."

"with what you have been doing you could cut and shut the box as you know and rewelding to get the angle you want as you are running dry sumping so you have some option there. Its all extra work but maybe also have you considered running the steering rack..."
