"well there's no rust repair panels, you can still get fibreglass front guards and bonnets i think. as for spare parts you just have to troll yahoo and ebay and put a 'wanted to buy' ad in the for sale section, it is a bit difficult to come by parts but..."

"just check the dimensions of the toyota knuckle against the 1000, i assume it will be a bit bigger and that could throw your geometry out. also where the tie-rods hook up for the steering you need to check that as well wether its front or back"
